Taking Customer Feedback

One of the most valuable things for us at Perry Parts is customer feedback. It’s how we improve and refine our products and make genuine strides in performance, durability, and accessibility for this hobby.

Since launching the second generation of our product, we’ve focused on enhancing the installation experience. While bump stops aren’t particularly difficult to install, every improvement counts. If we can reduce an hour-long install to just 15 or 20 minutes, it’s a major win for both our customers and us.

With that in mind, I wanted to share some recent updates to our rear bump stops, designed to streamline installation for our customers.

Captured Bolt Design – We’ve designed our rear bump stops to retain the bolts within the product. This allows customers to secure the bump stop without needing to hold the hardware in place while tightening it, making installation a true two-handed process.

Torque Sleeve Insert – The integrated torque sleeve not only retains the hardware but also acts as a torque limiter, simplifying the tightening process. Customers can now tighten the bolts to a specific torque and move on with the installation.

Reinforced Base – We frequently received feedback about lateral movement in the bump stops post-installation. By increasing the material thickness at the base, leveraging the added support from the new torque sleeves, we’ve improved stability in every direction.

These design improvements not only make installation of our rear bump stops easier but also enhance the overall user experience.

Plus, they look pretty cool.
